RONALD CORTEZ a.k.a. ROMEO CORTEZ JR. - A folklore artist.





A folklore "realist", Ronald returns to hometown Lucban every-so-often and spend a great deal of time in the company of its inhabitants, observing their ordinary daily rituals, and in turn capturing those images unto large canvasses of colors and lines and shadows.

 
 
He has developed a flair for depicting traditional family ties, mores, values, and rural lifestyles. He has been drawing since his grade school days. This pre-occupation led him to be a self-taught artist.
 
 
 
My objective in life as an artist is to offer my great respect to God as the Greatest Artist and to give justice to His majestic creations!"
